The primary mission of the Human Resources Division is to attract high quality employment candidates and to ensure that current employees have the training and knowledge necessary to meet the expectations of Middletown citizens and residents. In support of this mission, the Human Resources Division advertises open positions, manages the promotional process, conducts all necessary employment testing and coordinates employee training sessions.


Further, the Human Resources Division is responsible for the management of employee benefits, aides the Civil Service Commission and acts as the primary coordinator for the City's safety programs. The Division also acts to prepare, update and maintain all personnel policies and procedures for the City of Middletown.
