The Department of Public Works and Utilities is responsible for engineering, maintenance and repair of the City's infrastructure. In support of this, City employees are committed to providing the highest quality service in the most cost effective manner. Our Public Works Department also oversees the electronics maintenance in Middletown: street lights, traffic lights, and more.

Public Works DirectorPhone: 513-425-1860Scott Tadych has been employed by the City of Middletown since 2000. He served as an Engineer, Senior Engineer and Assistant City Engineer prior to being promoted to Public Works & Utilities Director in 2013. Mr. Tadych holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio. He is a member of the American Public Works Association and American Water Works Association.
