Election Signage

Signs are not permitted in the public right of way at any time. The public right of way is defined as the space between the sidewalk (or telephone pole) and the street.

Per the Middletown Development Code:
- Residential properties can have a sign that is up to a total of 6 sq. ft. in size and a maximum of 24 sq. ft. in total sign area (example: 4 signs total that are a total of 6 sq. ft. each).

- For Nonresidential properties: please see below for table on temporary sign allowances.

Please refrain from placing your political campaign signs in the right of way. If your campaign volunteers see your signs in the right of way please ask them to move them. Thank you and we appreciate your cooperation and assistance on this issue.
