Steven P. Longworth currently serves as the Clerk of Court/Director of Court Services. Mr. Longworth has served the court for over thirty years in all divisions including as the Chief Bailiff, Chief Probation Officer, and Chief Deputy Clerk. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Miami University and later earned a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Dayton. He also earned certification in court management from the National Center for State Courts and a professional Clerk’s certification from OAMCCC. He is a past president of Ohio Association of Municipal/County Court Clerks and the Southwestern Ohio Association of Municipal/County Court Clerks. In 2019 he was named Clerk of the Year by OAMCCC. He continues to serve OAMCCC as Treasurer and chair of the legislative committee. He serves on Governor Dewine’s Warrant Taskforce, the Ohio Supreme Court Technology Commission, and the Butler County Criminal Justice Board.
