Originally composed by guitarist Pete Townsend of The Who as a rock opera, this classic of classic rock albums has now been fully realized as a full-length bluegrass tribute paying total respect to its creators. Tommy: A Bluegrass Opry has received ringing endorsements from Rolling Stone magazine and Mr. Townsend.

  1. Wild About Spring Wildflowers

    One of the best surprises you can find on a hike is a pop of bright color in early spring! We’ll be searching for plenty of colorful spring wildflowers at Davidson Wood area, but what may surprise you the most is that some of the brightest flowers are most likely to be found in the shady wetlands! A great example is the bright yellow Large-Flowered Bellwort. FREE! Meet at the Meijer parking lot and carpool due to limited parking.

  2. Egg Orienteering

    Join Orienteering Cincinnati, Inc. ( to learn this fun sport. Start times are available from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with courses from beginner through advanced difficulty being offered. The beginner's course will have baskets of plastic eggs at each checkpoint. Children collect the plastic eggs and exchange them for candy or toys at the finish. Adults may accompany young children on the egg course at no additional charge.
