  1. RL Big Band's Tribute to "The Girl Singers"

    June 8, 2019, 8:00 PM - 10:30 PM @ Sorg Opera House

Tighter than the Sorg's budget, we warmly welcome the return of the hard charging RL Big band to our stage. Their first visit with us was a great evening honoring Rosemary Clooney and tossing in some Buddy Rich, just for the swing of it. This time it's a tribute to "The Girl Singers" and that's plural. Nancy James returns and swings through some Judy Garland classics, we welcome Lynne Scott's interpretation of Peggy Lee's warm stylings and Pam Mallory honors both Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn! The RL Big Band and three vocalists inside the Sorg Opera House promises a night of elegant, swinging music - another dinner and date night not to be missed on Saturday, June 8th, doors at 7:00 p.m., swing at 8:00 p.m. More info: www.sorgoperahouse.org
