  5. Lights, Camera, Magic!

    Miami Regionals’ E-Campus will be offering 6 one-week hands-on S.T.E.A.M. Studio summer camps for 5th - 8th grade students from June 27 - July 26 on the Hamilton and Middletown campuses. Each week of camp is centered around a common theme to provide unique hands-on opportunities to imagine, design and bring ideas to life while experiencing traditional and not-so-traditional summer camp activities. “Lights, Camera, Magic!” will meet June 17 - June 21 from 9am - 4pm on the Middletown campus. How did they do that? Did you ever wonder how to make something fly or suspend in mid-air? Explore the basics used by film directors and photographers to create special effects using green screen technology while creating your own short-film or print art! End the week screening your creations at the first-ever STEAM Studio “Film Fest!” (Max 45 Participants)

    The Lion King JR. tells the story of the epic adventures of a curious cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destiny as king. Along the way, the young lion encounters a colorful cast of characters including spunky lioness Nala, charismatic meerkat Timon, and loveable warthog Pumbaa. To claim his rightful place on the throne and save his beloved Pridelands, Simba must find his inner strength and confront his wicked Uncle Scar. The Lion King JR. features classic songs “Hakuna Matata” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”.
