    Area youth completing grades K-3 (entering grades 1-4 this fall) are invited to audition for, Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, KIDS, Monday, May 20 at 5:00 PM at the Performing Arts Academy. For audition material - www.theperformingartsacademy.com Rehearsals begin June 3. Monday and Thursday, 5:00-7:00 PM & Saturdays, 10:00 AM-12 Noon Performances are September 20 & 21 at 7:00 PM and September 22 at 3:00 PM. Based on one of the most treasured Disney animated films of all time, Sleeping Beauty. It's Princess Aurora's sixteenth birthday, and three fairies – Flora, Fauna and Merryweather – must use their magic to save her from the spell of the evil sorceress, Maleficent! The fairies ensure that Aurora only falls into a deep sleep that can be ended with a kiss from her betrothed, Prince Phillip. To prevent Phillip from rescuing Aurora, Maleficent kidnaps and imprisons him. The good fairies are the last hope to free Phillip so that he can awaken Aurora 513-594-7242.

    Area youth who are completing grades 4-6 (entering grades 5-7 in the fall) are invited to audition for, Seussical, JR. Tuesday, May 21 at 5:30 PM at the Performing Arts Academy, 4400 Lewis Street, Middletown. Audition material may be found at www.theperformingartsacademy.com Rehearsals begin July 8 and will run for 3 weeks, Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Performances are July 26, 27, 28 and August 2, 3 & 4. Come and unlock the imaginations of area citizens when we bring the Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie La Bird, the Whos in Whoville and other Seuss favorites to life with our production of Seussical JR. Audition material may be found at www.theperformingartsacademy.com Rehearsals begin June 3 and will run for 3 weeks, Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Performances are June 21, 22, 23 and 28, 29 & 30. The Lion King JR. tells the story of the epic adventures of a curious cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destiny as king. Along the way, the young lion encounters a colorful cast of characters including spunky lioness Nala, charismatic meerkat Timon, and loveable warthog Pumbaa. To claim his rightful place on the throne and save his beloved Pridelands , Simba must find his inner strength and confront his wicked Uncle Scar. The Lion King JR. features classic songs from the 1994 film such as “Hakuna Matata” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight."

This ensures a setting up a safe lineup for all. We already have over 80 groups registered. We need to know if you're coming because it will be complete chaos otherwise.
