  1. "Gyros on the Go" -- Greek Gyro and Pastry Drive Through

    July 25, 2019, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

    “Gyros on the Go” will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, July 25. Gyro sandwiches and boxes of assorted pastries will be available for purchase. You don’t even need to get out of your car. Youth volunteers will come out to your car and take your order and bring your food back to you. Just pull up on the Stanley Avenue side of the church. Pastry orders can be made ahead of time at the Festival Facebook website or call: 513-424-6521 or 513-423-7734. On-line orders will be accepted until 5:00 pm on Monday, July 22 at: www.middletowngreekfest.com. All orders must be picked up during Greekfest open hours of Friday 5-10 pm, Saturday 4-10 pm and Sunday 12-5.

    52nd Annual GreekFest shares the food, culture, religion, music, dance, drinks, pastry, and hospitality of the Greek community. Live music and dance performances in traditional Greek costumes all weekend. Homemade pastries, Greek wine and beer, baklava and baklava sundaes, and our famous gyro (pronounced yee-ro) sandwiches will all be available. Try a Loukoumades, a fried "Honey Ball" covered with homemade syrup. In addition there is loukaniko, Greek sausage, and souvlaki, lamb shish kabob and Greek salads with feta cheese and kalamata olives. Take a tour of the church lead by Father Bill Cassis. This week at Governor Bebb MetroPark, we will explore Dry Fork Creek, a watershed of Whitewater River, and ultimately the Great Miami River. There are many frogs and toads in this creek, so keep your eyes peeled! Closed-toes shoes are required for all creeking events
