Introducing the Consultant
Prime and Subconsultant Overview
Our name, V3, is based on the three Latin words Visio, Vertere, Virtute that represent what we bring to every project, “the vision to transform with excellence.”
Our passion is applying our professionalism to your needs in order to transform your visions into reality. We’ve demonstrated our unique ability to create functional landscapes that highlight natural resources in our delivery of Sunset Park. And we believe the highly experienced, multi-disciplinary team we’ve assembled for this project puts us in a singular position as the best team to work alongside you to establish realistic goals, objectives and implementation on strategies to meet the recreation needs of Middletown.
Parks are one of the few spaces in communities that truly are for everyone, and the quality of parks in a community can be the difference in attracting and retaining residents and jobs. The relationships between the plants, animals, and people that live, work, and play in Middletown are diverse and offer enormous opportunity to elevate quality of life. We see Middletown’s location along the Great Miami River and the Great Miami River Trail as assets you can build on as you develop a master plan for your park system. Our team of experts knows how to integrate recreational opportunities into both natural and urban areas, how to make them attractive and accessible to people, and how to insure they complement the surrounding environment. We bring our deep knowledge of how all landscapes work to make sure, every decision has a sound basis in reality, can withstand the forces of nature, and can excite people about the best features of Middletown.
V3 will lead the Middletown 2020-2030 Parks Master Plan. Our integrated team of landscape architects, civil engineers, natural resource scientists, and construction estimators bring all of the expertise you need to analyze existing facilities and plan future assets. We look for opportunities to create functional beauty and ways to connect people to people and nature, while maintaining a focus on your budgetary and maintenance requirements. Ultimately, we help our clients create more resilient communities.
HUMAN NATURE is a Cincinnati-based landscape architecture studio and has been actively involved in developing parks master plans, parks and recreation system master plans, and trails planning and construction in the Tri-State area. They have guided the process and completed plans for the Cincinnati Park System Centennial Master Plan, Hamilton Township Parks Master Plan, Cincinnati Trail Network-Cincinnati Connects, Northern Kentucky Regional Parks Initiative and many others. They have developed a feasibility study for a potential 84-mile network of trails linking the Little Miami Scenic Trail and trail development along the Great Miami River; and they have prepared Riverfront Commons Trail Guidelines along the Ohio River for Northern Kentucky riverfront cities. Not only has Human Nature led planning efforts but often implements the recommendations of those plans with phased capital improvements projects.
