The City of Middletown is proud to offer Rumpke’s Waste and Recycling Container Service. Participation in this program is completely voluntary. Recycling: Rumpke is offering a 65-gallon recycling container, free of charge. These containers may be used in place of the red 18-gallon containers. Rumpke will continue to pick up the red 18-gallon containers for those who choose not to use the larger container. Residents can continue to pick-up a red 18-gallon recycling bin at the Citizens Service Center in the City Building. Waste: Rumpke is also offering two sizes of trash containers. The smaller container holds 65-gallons and the larger container holds 95-gallons. Both containers have large wheels for easy handling, mobility and durability. The charge for the use of these containers is $1.50 per month, per container, no matter the size. The charge for this service will be billed monthly on your water/sewer account.
There are three ways to sign up for a toter:
1. Sign in to your Online Water Account, click on Preferences then Toter Rentals to manage the recycling and trash toters assigned to your account.
2. Call our offices at (513) 425-7870 and speak to a customer representative.
3. Stop by the Citizens Service Center in the lobby of the City Building.
