The City of Middletown offers unparalleled access to markets throughout Southwest Ohio and the Midwest because of its location along Interstate 75 in the Cincinnati-Dayton corridor. This location has provided the City with a number of opportunities to attract new investment from businesses large and small. We have highlighted many of these “successes” in our 2008 State of Economic Development report and the advantages of doing business in Middletown in our Middletown Advantage brochure. Our Success in the Middle 2008 State of Economic Development report focuses on our community’s many successes over the past year. The report provides an overview of the City’s Economic Development Plan for Success and the key industries we target. The heart of the document though is the story of the many successes Middletown has earned over the last year. These include the Atrium Medical Center in the City’s Renaissance District, the Innatech warehousing and distribution operation in our Greentree Industrial Park, and Miami University’s Applied Research Center in downtown, just to name a few. If you would like to learn more about these or other Success Stories in the Middle, please click here. Our Middletown Advantage brochure draws attention to our economic development potential, including our regional strengths in aerospace & aviation, advanced materials & manufacturing, information technology & data management, and healthcare & life sciences. It also showcases our access to the educational, recreational and cultural assets that make the community and our region a great place to live, work, play and invest. Working with our regional partners at the Cincinnati USA Partnership and the Dayton Development Coalition, we have developed this brochure highlighting many of these assets. We encourage you to discover for yourself why so many businesses and residents find “Success in the Middle.” To view or download these brochures, please click on either of the document covers below:
