Picnic Shelter Reservations - Shelters can be reserved at Smith and Douglass Parks for a fee of $30 for the day. Five shelters are available at Smith Park and three at Douglass Park. A form requesting the use of a park can be obtained by calling (513) 425-7841 or click here to download. Wood Chips - Need wood chips to use in your home landscaping? Wood chips are available free of charge to the public by calling (513) 425-1897. Fishing - Anglers can fish without having to obtain a fishing license during regular park hours at Smith Park. The pond is stocked annually with hybrid bluegill, channel catfish and largemouth bass fingerlings. Locktenders House - The Middletown Historical Society offers tours of this unique museum located at Smith Park. Call (513) 422-4781 to arrange a tour. Community Center Rental - The all-purpose room at the Middletown Community Center, located at 800 Lafayette, can be rented for family or business functions. For rental details call (513) 425-7866. Operation Hoedown - For a nominal fee garden space is available by the Middletown Community Center for those who are interested in growing their own vegetables. Spaces are available for rent the later part of April. Call (513) 425-7866 to reserve your spot.
