As a Middletown resident, I am excited by what I see as the bright future of this city.  I’ve been warmly welcomed by citizens, businesses and organizations. Now it is my turn to welcome others to our fine city.

Middletown is a high quality community, steeped in tradition, proud of its heritage and accomplishments and well positioned to take advantage of upcoming opportunities. There is a great deal of energy in and around Middletown these days; the community is excited about the future. 

This outstanding community features many services, amenities, entertainment and educational choices usually found only in much larger cities. Middletown is home to a fine park system, regional airport, a new state-of-the-art hospital, many exciting festival events, a symphony orchestra, theatre companies, an art center and an outstanding branch of Miami University. Middletown offers small city friendliness within easy reach of the cities of Dayton or Cincinnati via I-75.

As City Manager, I constantly look for creative new approaches to providing quality city services in the most efficient and effective manner possible. Our City staff members are also committed to delivering the highest level of service to our residents and guests.  We care about our total community.  

For over 200 years, Middletown citizens have worked together to make their community a great place to live, work and raise families.  I know that you will feel the excitement of the community as we move forward.
